It's over for another year ! This year it was
a little different. I'm seldom in a very festive
mood over the holidays mostly because of the
hustle & bustle and the whole commercialization
of the season but for some reason I didn't really
mind it as much this year. Although I did start
out in a pretty cheerful mood I hit a small snag
there as Christmas grew near and I got a bit, shall
we say, mushy inside. I guess not having much
family left and not being able to get everyone
together kinda takes some of the joy out of the
holidays. But life goes on.
One bright spot was watching the Granddaughters
enjoy their Christmas. I'll never tire of that. I guess
all in all it was a very good Christmas... Santa
never overdid it (unusual) and although the stockings
were not crammed, My heart was filled to capacity with
Blessings and hopes for the coming year. And the
good thing about that is it comes at no charge and
no high interest rates. All paid in full by
"The Birthday Boy' so may years ago. May God bless
each and everyone of us as we start the new year. ;-)))
