One would think with the changing of the weather
my week would be full of adventurous new things.....
One would be mistaken. I evidently sprung a leak
somewhere in my energy tank and drained most all
of my reserves. As the saying goes 'I started off slow
and then tapered off' For some reason this entire
week has been run in slow motion. Quick trips to the
store turn into all day shopping extravaganzas, I even
went as far as skipping a breakfast with the guys this
week. (well one of them anyway) I did manage a
couple short trail rides and fishing jaunts which were
uneventful though pleasant. I also managed to lose a
set of keys which was not so pleasant. It was a good
thing that they were my spares and I had to originals
to copy. It was not a good thing that Polaris charges
eleven dollars for a key blank and doesn't have a
machine to cut the key. That's one reason for one of
the shopping outings, finding a store that could cut
the odd-ball key.
The rest of my week was plagued with endless naps
and severe bouts of overeating . I am starting to fear
the onset of my Grandfathers dreaded illness.."Spring
Fever" which he described as 'When the iron in your
blood turns to lead in your a$$'
And what better way to end the week than the years
first grass cutting. Ahh the smell of fresh mowed grass,
mixed in of course with the smell of stale gas and
slipping drive belts on the mower. (parts ordered) I
guess spring is a time of new beginnings so what better
time to turn this mess around than Easter weekend.
Just wait till you hear next weeks report ! Glorious
times are coming ! ;-))
