Just what are these clothing designers thinking ???
Last week I purchased a pkg of IZOD cotton Boxer briefs.
(TMI I know) Hear me out. Upon opening the package and
throwing them in the washer and dryer I took a closer look
at my purchase. Very soft cotton material, comfortable looking
waist band, very well made. THEN!
I examined the fly. An important part of any male undergarment.
The fly starts at the waistband and only extends about three or four
inches down the garment. Hardly adequate, and positioned
completely wrong. To make matters worse they put a button
in the middle of the fly.
Now ! In what universe is it necessary to have a button on
ones undergarment? As we mature and require more frequent
use of this feature the last thing we need is one more
obstacle in our way during these sometimes stressful moments.
Now this may sound frivolous to some but it very disturbing to
me. Just one more complication in my already overly complicated
life. Where does it end?
For those that think my rants are silly try walking a mile in my
shoes (or for that matter a day in my briefs) On second thought
never mind.. Forget I mentioned that.. I'm sure the ladies won't
sympathize as they were never afforded this option. Just let me go
on record as saying 'I Protest'
