Now I understand

There is no beach in my back yard. No seagulls crying in the surf a few yards from my porch. No huge empty level plains surrounding my home. So whats with this weather ? We're supposed to live in a protected little valley nestled in the hills. Safe from all the outlandish weather you other folks have. That's
the way it's SUPPOSED' to be. Until this year
It all started with the bad snow storm this past winter. Then a real bad hail storm that I somehow escaped damage from except for replacing the toneau
cover on my truck. A couple months ago I lost a couple shingles in a really bad wind storm but was able to do the repairs myself...and now the big one.
I was at work at the time and wife was out so I didn't get the full impact
on the wind but it must have been a doozie. Coming home to a kitchen full of saggy celling and water everywhere is not a fun thing. Luckily a call to good friends brought out tarps and nails and buttoned everything up for me.
Final tally... New roof.. all new vinyl siding... four new columns for the front of the house... new ceiling in the kitchen.. new insulation in the attic and a new laptop computer ( they don't take to water well) But thank God everyone
is safe and sound and insurance premiums are up to date..haha
So with a few little touches like picnic tables and umbrellas that took
flight replaced I think all will be fine after the repairs are made. Main
thing is the boat wasn't touched... whewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
