Gone to the dogs...

Dogs. What can I say...I love 'em. Seems there were always

dogs in my life. I could go on and on about the breeds but

truth be known one breed would cover most of them..Heinz 57's

Ohh there was a Manchester Terrier my sister had... kinda like a

rat that barked.. and a over sized hound that only hunted his

feeding dish. but there was a few jewels mixed in from time to

time. I had a really beautiful Brittany spaniel named Freckles

that I loved dearly. He provoked a 4 year period of hatching

and raising Bobwhite quail to be released for his pointing

enjoyment. But enough about the past .

Allow me to introduce you to my present stable of canines.

Buster Brown A.K.A. The Sheriff

Busters main job is to guard the house and keep the other dogs in line.

He takes this job very seriously, and I pity the poor burglar that crosses him.

He has been known to take out an eardrum with a single yap !

Betsy Brown... A.K.A. The Entertainer.

Betsy is a Yorkie-poo.. which is a Yorkie-poodle mixed

In my day they were mutts..now there 'designer dogs'

Somewhere along the road, lovable Betsy missed the boat.

She is a great dancer.. a fine singer and by far the most

playful of the bunch . In these photos she is doing her

woolly sheep impression.

Baby Brown............. A.K.A. The Enforcer..Li'll One...Li'll black bear

Baby is one of Buster and Betsy's offspring

He was the runt of the litter and we all know they have to stay.

Baby is kinda like Busters deputy.. the noisiest and most ferocious

of the bunch. Although he as never used them ..I have seen his

teeth and they are ankle ready if the need arises.

Jaxon Brown....... A.K.A. Lazy bones

Jaxon is a transplant. hailing from Athens Ohio

Son got him as a pup while in college at Ohio U.

Son got apartment... we got Jaxon

Every chorus needs a baritone.. thats where Jaxon

fits in in our home protection plan. He's a big

chicken.. but sounds ferocious next to the little ones.



And last but not least... the five Brown babies

Betsy and Busters kids... Four of which we found good

homes for except for Baby who won the lottery and

got hired for my home security system...and

I might add..A life of luxury .
