I have a quick question. If anyone knows someone that works in a
grocery store maybe you can find the answer for me.
My question is ...Why would a person put a one gallon plastic jug
of milk with a sturdy built in handle into a flimsy plastic bag with
tissue paper like handles for transport to and from ones car ????
Obviously I'm missing something. I bought a gallon of milk, a half
gallon of chocolate milk, 4 containers of yogurt and a pound of
bacon tonight and ended up with five plastic bags.
My guess is there is a monthly contest with prizes given out to the
cashier that gets rid of the most bags. Although I've never seen a
list of winners posted in the stores I'm sure their must be something
posted in the break room etc. Maybe the answer is to use the cloth
store bags that I bought over the years that have found a permanent
home behind the seat of my truck. Naa... that would involve
remembering to take them into the store. I guess I'll just keep making
that same old 'Kill a tree or clog a landfill" decision each trip till I
find the answer.
