Best feeling...

        I've thought about this a lot.  Maybe too much. 
After all it's not the most manly of subjects.   But
the other day I was thinking , I wonder if ask , what
the average person would say was the best feeling
they ever experienced.  
       I sure the answers would be as varied as the
people ask.   I can imagine answers from "The
moment I knew I was in love" to "The day I won a
particular tournament/game".  Or maybe the day
my son or daughter was born.  Or even the moment
I knew I had kicked a certain habit / addiction. 
I'm sure there would be many different answers, each
with special meaning to that person. I think I found mine.
   Before I give my answer it is not meant to belittle
events like my wedding day, birth of my children or
even my big win in the open tournament or my first deer.
The reason I picked what I did is because it is something
that is ongoing.  not a once in a lifetime thing. It's something
I can enjoy almost weekly, even now.  What is it you may ask ?
   If you have ever picked up a baby from a nap,  or a tired baby
ready for a nap, or a sick baby that is just simply is exhausted,
then you know the feeling.  That, arms out, pick me up look
in their eyes.  Nothing can compare to that moment when they
lay their head on your chest and gives you that feeling of absolute
total trust.  At that very moment you realize that every screw-up,
every mistake, every little foolish thing that you have ever done
has vanished.  For that split second you are the Superhero,
The brave knight, The protector and you can do no wrong in their
eyes.  Absolute total trust and love.  And what else,my friend,
can one ask for in life !
