watching You Tube videos about camping, campfire
cooking, eighteenth century ways of life, primitive
hunting methods and so on. So tonight I thought I'd
go to a couple of the news feeds and read up on some
of the newer news items that the media was offering.
Now, I do say that with a smirk because it seems that
most of these stories have happened months or years
ago and are just being used as 'fillers' now, but since
I normally don't follow along .. I just accept it as a new
story until somebody corrects me when I post about it.
Not sure about tonight's story but I started reading
about this ninety year old guy and two Preachers being
arrested for feeding homeless people in Florida. I had
read something of this before and was curious if it was
the same incident or a different one. OK.. long story
short I started reading the comments hoping I would
find the reason that this 'No feeding' law was passed
in the first place. Big mistake.. the conversation went
from Police being at fault for not ignoring the law to
Nazi Germany rounding up all the Jews to homeless
people being a blight on the city. I honestly got lost
a couple times and had to re-read a few comments to
get back on track. Anyway the whole purpose of this
post is the kick I got out of the very last comments on
the page (of which there were many) I think it sums
up the situation very well. Homeless people don't spend money !
