No Politica ......  

Alright  I'll admit,  I've been sidetracked a little lately.  But that 

doesn't mean I'm going to refrain from posting worthless time

consuming stories on here about boring events that happen to me

almost daily.  This time I even have a few poorly composed pictures

to accompany them.  Don't panic.. they are a free bonus !

The  first couple are of a diner we did at camp for a good friends

wedding reception.  It was a long day but it did keep a couple of us 

out of the rest of the planning and decorating so that was a plus.

Poor fellow was stuffed with so much garlic, sausage, apples and 

peppers he could hardly turn over..  But turn he did..lol

However he didn't do it without creating a little smoke.  I don't

think he was too happy with the rod placement..

As we were cooking the pig we talked of possibly doing a
couple of wild turkeys in the spit in a couple weeks when the
season opened.   Obviously The conversation was overheard
because the very next morning as I looked around the back of
my camper I saw a bunch of them planing an escape route !
All I caught was the "Get outta Dodge" battle cry !!

Alas the Turkeys survived and the pig didn't.  But at the
end of the day I did get rewarded.  The good Lord always
takes care of me in the end.  Y'all can have your parties...
I'll take my peace and natural beauty any day.

Oh yea !  Almost forgot...  For those that think I,m a fanatic
about trains I took this picture to prove there are crazier people
in the world than me.. At least I haven't converted my truck yet !!!
