Rant time !!!!

  Since the election is over I have taken more time
to work on my people skills that took a pretty good
hit over the last few months.  Hunting season is upon
us and normally my time sitting up in a tree does
wonders for my attitude.  This year was no exception.
Up to a point.  I now calmly copy and paste all of the
things I disagree with our new commander and chief and
his decisions and appointees into a folder on my computer
to save until the day someone ticks me off enough to
download the entire folder at once. I figure why pi$$ people
off a little at a time when I can one day be the Grand Emperor of
butt heads for a day?  But that's not the reason for this rant.
    The reason for this rant is sports.  After hunting all day and
eating dinner, I would sometimes go to the clubhouse for a
bit of conversation and possibly a couple adult beverages.  It
came to my attention just how many guys (in this case) come
unhinged defending their sports teams.  Then upon coming
home today and turning on the computer I see all of the whining
and bickering and name calling about the recent games.  People
actually threatening people, calling them names and ready to
fight each other over a game played by people who wouldn't give
them the time of day.  Alright, I can see it if you are an alumni or
played for a certain college team maybe.  But most of the people
fighting couldn't even spell football, let alone play it !  And as for
the pros, try to get one of those overpaid stars that your willing to
throw away a friendship and fight a friend over to make your car
payment next month.  
   I'm just at a loss.. I always thought friendship
was one of the greatest things  mankind shared yet people are willing
to throw it away for someone who could give a rat's *** about  them.
Pretty obvious I'm not a sports fan 'eh?   So now I have that off my
chest I can rest easy.  They could end professional sports tomorrow
as far as I'm concerned  lol
