Political.. Skip if offended

Fifty nine missiles launched last night.  I'm torn.
The strike was in retaliation for a bombing involving
forbidden nerve gas last week killing innocent people.
We can't let this behavior continue.  I fully understand
our mission to destroy their airfield and send a message
that these actions won't be tolerated.
Admittedly it is only hours since the strike and no
information on damage, deaths or injuries has yet to be
reported.  Praying for the best but fearing the worse.
You see where I have a problem is we tend to lump
everyone together as the enemy.  What we fail to realize
is that most of the people that were caught up in that
bombing were everyday Joes going to work serving their
country at that airbase much like our family and friends
do daily here in this country.  Sure we don't agree with their
countries policies but to them it's just a job.  The decision
to launch those hateful nerve gas bombs was made by
leaders hundreds of miles away in protective bunkers with
armed guards.  And as much as I agree with destroying
the airstrip I refuse to applaud the death of the people killed
while preforming their daily duties .  All of the Facebook cries
of 'Bomb those baby Killers' and blow 'em all up'  make me
wonder how many would feel if someone bombed  an air base
where their son or daughter is stationed because of a decision
that came from a Bunker in D.C.   Now I know this is all
premature.  Maybe no lives were lost.  I just hurt when I read
a post from a friend that just last week posted he is brought
to tears every Sunday by the love of fellow man that he has
found in a new church post something like 'Bomb those M/F
baby killers'.  We didn't bomb the killers .. they are alive and
well and plotting their next move.  Maybe we hindered them.
Maybe we even placed fear in their hearts but make no mistake
about it .. Their mission is still alive.  And that's more than can
be said for the soldiers on hanger duty last night at that airport......
