Fresh coat of paint.....

      I was reading  a post today.. not sure what about.. and I read
a line that got me to thinking.  (how unusual 'eh ?)  If it only
worked in life !  Story told of how a fresh coat of paint could
cover all sorts of flaws, scars and stains on a object.  It stated
that it gave a like new appearance to old and worn objects.
    I think that's a good idea.  So I'm incorporating it in my life.
Starting at once I am once again the care free.. non political..
guy that no longer worries about the things I can't control.  No
more prepping.. no more saving.. no more worrying about such
things as an economic collapse..Grid down event.. environmental
disaster 

JUST KIDDING ...I started this post a week or so ago and my
mind went numb just after I started it. and that is as far as i got.
They don't make a paint thick enough or dark enough to cover
the flaws ,scars and stains I see in this world today.  Sound
cynical ??  Yep.  I'm going to have to be content to simply
ignore everything I disagree with and not engage.  Something I
completely disagree with doing because it not only gives the
opposition the soap box but also  gives them an unopposed 'win'
no matter how false or misleading their statements are.  So do
whatever you want world  Seems the people want a "I've got mine..
F%6% you " type of world  to live in ... so be it .. I'll get along
just fine.  I think a lot of people will be surprised though.
    On a lighter note the dragon is out !  When I started  making
You Tube videos a while back I had the idea of including a small
dinosaur that my granddaughter had given me for Christmas when
she was in preschool into the background somewhere in each video.
Well ole Fred was just too small and I had a hard time making him
seen.  So I elected to go with a bright blue two headed Dragon instead.
Well he made his debut in the closing shots on my last video and
looked woefully out of place.  Add to this,   when I checked out a new
subscriber to my channel he had two dinosaurs on his desk that he
interacted with.   I'm not going there so Ole Two Head is out !!!
Oh I can't say one of them won't sneak in from time to time but I'm
not sharing my channel with no critters.
      Today is the first day of the rest of my life... again !  I've had
several in the last year or so .. but this is the first one this year.  I
was doing so well for a long time there and then boom.. the bottom
dropped out (not my bottom mind ya )  Gained half of my weight back
ate everything I had been craving, you name it .  Luckily all of my
numbers (BP A1C and such) stayed within range.  So it's back on the
wagon again..and right now I could use a midnight snack.  Guess I go
to bed and dream about food instead.............
