Notice I said 'My' two headed dragon. There are many two headed dragons
but this one is mine. Each one ,as I researched them, have different
meanings in mythology. But this one, being mine, has it's own meaning that
I assigned to it personally. It stands for the many contradictory things in life.
At least as I perceive them.
First off .. Why a dragon? Well a few years ago my middle Grand Daughter
in her first year of school bought me a small dinosaur at Santa's workshop.
We named him Fred . Over the years Fred has gotten into a lot of mischief.
Once I took a picture of him in the fridge eating my berry pie.. On another
occasion he has be photographed making long distance calls on my phone.
And even caught eating off of my plate of pasta. Each time I forward this
proof to my Grand Daughter and Fred was scolded servery.
So recently when I started posting a few videos on my You Tube channel I
decided to add Fred in the background somewhere on each one. Well having
a low quality camera and even lower quality filming skills, regretfully Fred
wasn't very visible in any of the videos except to me because I knew where he
was. It was time for Fred to grow up. Shopping for a replacement was a
daunting task. Not one toy dinosaur I found captured Fred's orneriness yet
still maintained his innocence. Then.. like a phone call from an adoption agency,
I got a text and photo from my daughter who was aware of my search.
Why not a two headed dragon? One that could show both sides of a given
situation or feeling. And so he started his one hundred mile transport by a
couple different vehicles to his new home with Fred. He has yet to be named..
I need to feel him out a bit before I do that .. but hopefully he will be staring in
his first video in the next couple days..(In a cameo role of course)
