Okay... Forever and ever I have wanted to be able to construct a mechanical rotisserie for cooking outdoors.. There are many methods involving flowing water.. wind mills and such but nothing I have seen that didn't involve carving gears and toggles, Until now... Based on an old DaVinci clock I think my bushcraft buddy has come up with something. Felix Immer has a video out showing it in action. Yes it's a lot of work.. No it is not really practical But do I need to build one ? DANG RIGHT I DO !! LOL I have followed this guy forever and got a million ideas off of him. I think he could rebuild the world with a Swiss Army Knife. Not sure if I can duplicate his project but I promise if I can it will make me a happy lad. Check in occasionally on my You Tube channel ( Plain 'Ole Chuck ) Sooner or later I'll get one made...lol Brilliant Gravity Rotisserie - driven by the wight of stones - da Vinci "flying pendulum Escapement" - YouTube
