Just a quickie today..
After years of tricking people into thinking I am a good guy I have started giving some outsiders things to talk about. Although I can't grease back my hair or put a pack of smokes in my shirt sleeve, and I'm not allowed to have a motorcycle I have to search for other ways to let people think I'm a bad a$$.
Case in point. Yesterday while shopping at a local Sam's Club that I frequent I purchased my usual drugs (prescription of course) and other items, checked out, flirted with a friend at the door for a second and headed to the truck. After loading my stuff in the truck I returned the cart to the cart rack as always. When I got to the cart coral I noticed one of the handicap carts parked nearby. In the basket was a woman's purse. Wallet right on top with cash sticking out of it. Since nobody was in the area I naturally snatched it up. This was going to be my lucky day ! Not because of new found wealth but because I was going to have the opportunity to do a good deed for the day. (I was still in 'good guy' mode). I picked up the purse and carried it back to my friend at the door (I did get a few looks on my walk back... You know... blue jeans and a very dressy purse) but I explained the situation and she thanked me and said they would handle it.
THEN,, As I was leaving I overheard a customer say to her "I'm surprised he didn't take it and run " To which my friend defended me saying I know him.. he wouldn't think of such a thing. So just to give the lady something to crow about to her friends later I stepped in and said... I already went through it and took anything of any value. And walked out.
I was back there today and my friend was standing there shaking her finger at me..lol She told me I was a naughty boy...lol 'perfect!!'
Ohh P.S. The lady did come back in to retrieve her purse later that day.. Alls well that ends well
