Dry Well...

After a quick run of posts my mind had finally gone dry.. well somewhat dry. Don't get alarmed...It will return in time. I think I just overworked it.

I'm thinking maybe i strayed too far away from the 'random thoughts' forum that I intended this blog to be. Recently I have started several new posts only to have them get so involved that they rivaled an English novel. Not my forte.. I'm more of a children's "See Spot run" type of writer. So, they set unfinished and probably will remain that way.

So starting this post I'm going to try and keep things simple. Simple little things that puzzle me from time to time... for instance...........

Working 12 hour shifts the last few nights I had the opportunity to go outside from time to time to take a break , do a weather check or preform one of the now multiple tasks associated with my job. On a couple of these occasions I observed a full, or near full moon. A sight that always amazed me. Again last night before turning in I noticed the moon through the window and it occurred to me that this was the exact moon that my friends all over the country were viewing . So.. I have a plan. Tonight at exactly 11:00PM I am going to conduct an experiment. If it is a clear night I will take my three dollar laser pen and shine it directly on the moon. If possible I would like any one reading this to go out and look up and see if they see a bright red dot right in the center of the moon. ( if your not on EST please adjust the time)

Now I have faith in my three dollar pen reaching the moon, but I'm not well read on the reflective qualities of the moons surface so only time will tell I guess.

I figure at the very least I will have the warm feeling of knowing that a friend somewhere is sharing moment looking at the same moon as I. And I promise no animals will be harmed in this experiment.
