Lighter subject...

So as to not make one think I am all gloom and doom , I thought I'd lighten up the subject matter just a bit and move to the lighter side for a post or two. I sometimes look at other friends lives and wonder if life can ever be as compatible and easy going as it seems from the outside. Seems all my friends all share favorite sports teams...hobbies...Nascar drivers and such within their family circle. Somehow this trait eluded our little family. A few examples....

My wife loves the Braves... my son loves the Indians...my daughter likes the Oakland A's.. her fiancee Josh likes the Blue Jays...I could give a rats behind about any of them although I do enjoy going to a couple games a year ( usually when Atlanta plays in Pitts) . And that's just in baseball ! In football our son is a Browns fan..Wife is a Saints & Charger fan.. Daughter and her fiancee Panther fans.. and me I've always been a Raider fan..( no comment on the 12 yr slump.. were rebuilding) Add the fact that our sons new Girl friend is a Steeler fan and the pot starts bubbling. All in all ,game days are a free for all.

I enjoy Nascar racing.. I think everyone else just has a favorite to annoy each other .. son likes ..Gordon...daughter..K Bush... Josh ..Earnheart.. wife used to like Mayfield..before the drug scandal.. me..I'd like to see a different winner each week although this year I did lean toward Mark Martin.. just cause he's closer to my age hehe

Being from the great state of Ohio I'm not even going to mention the Gator shirts my son got all of us for Christmas last year, luckily I think I have enough Buckeye shirts to overcome that.I should be wearing Muskingum College and Ohio U shirts.. there the ones that got all of my hard earned money !

Well I guess that's what makes the world go 'round. I thought I'd even add a couple pictures to show that fans can get along "outside the stadiums" .....well somewhat !

First one is Wife and son In Atlanta before the big game.....
The second is Daughter and Son...'On the cover" ( I get to referee... again)

Ahhh such shared love!
