More unstoppable photos....

....Well.. today security tightened up.
Since they were shooting one of the most dramatic and final scenes of the movie, we were ask to not take any photos (yea right) The area was a bit more secure because of the nature of the shot. There were explosions.. sparks..fire.. loads falling from the trestle and all sorts of things that could have caused injury to bystanders. This being said I managed to get a few distant shots of the runaway train. This is the first time I had seen the toxic tank cars and pipe cars in any of the shootings.

You may have to click on these to see any kind of detail since some are shot from a distance.

Just about every street in the area of the tracks was blocked off. The streets today were filled with extras dressed as policeman..firefighters and emergency personal...
made it hard to know who to hide the camera from !!!
Anyway.............
Back to the train, the tank cars are supposed to be the big deal in this movie because of their toxic cargo but were a bit overshadowed in today's shooting.

This was also the first time i had seen any of
these pipe loaded cars on any of the movie trains.
I was really impressed with the authentic look
of these pipe loads after finding out they were
nothing more than heavy duty cardboard tubes.

Now I'm not one to ruin movie scenes in advance of the movie coming out , but keep
these pipes in mind when you hear about loads being lost over the side of a elevated
trestle. nuff said : )
