Piedmont Lake......

The second installment In my 'fishing spots' series brings us to Piedmont Lake..

one of the smaller lakes in the Muskingum Watershed District. This lake is undeveloped

and absolutely naturally beautiful. The above picture is a typical shoreline in the lower

reaches of the lake. No fancy cottages or boat docks here except in the area of the marina.

Beavers have had a busy spring this year... several huts dot the shallows.......

Plus Mother Nature has been busy planting her own flowers........................

I'm guessing Pittsburgh airport is in that direction............................................

Alas today was small bass day..(for me anyway) only two keepers all day...
But plenty of small bass like this to keep the day interesting..........................
