Yes Spring.. a time of rebirth... when the hills and valleys (and plains) come alive with color. One would think this is a natural process. but ohh no... not here... not at my house. At my house spring means several trips to nurseries for bedding plants..hanging baskets..potting soil.. peat moss and just about every other 'natural' embellishment for the yard that one can think of. This past Friday consisted of a trip to a local flea market for some hanging baskets.. then off to Moundsville for a couple flats of bedding plants, only to be capped off by a stop at Robins and Dons in Brookside for some much needed poppys..a stop that almost ends up as a class reunion for Carla.. this year was no exception.
Once home it's time to hunt up the ornamental hangers.... build a trellis...design new hangers for the fence (construction later in the week) and ready the flower beds (sons mothers day gift). All thats left is a trip for peat moss.. potting soil and fertilizer and putting the whole shooting match together Ahhh natural beauty....can't beat it !!!!!!!
Great picture! Wish you would do my landscaping. I am green-thumb challenged with a natural-born aversion to outdoor work.
