Well to start this off I'm reminded of a saying about opinions..."Opinions are like A__ H___s Everyone has one .. and most of them stink . Now that we have all of the vulgar sayings out of the way...lets move on.
Valentine's day. Exactly who started this holiday? Merchants with a slow period in February? Husbands that needed a day to 'set things straight ? Or was it simply a ploy by the candy companys to add inches to people's waistlines?
I am one of those guys that consider everyday valentines day in that I always try
to do little things for the lady in my life to make life more pleasant for her. Yet
If I don't shower her with cards ,candy and flowers on this day I am considered a
bad husband by the outside world. On the other side of the coin I know men who
treat their wives poorly all year ... carouse about then buy expensive jewelry for that special day and everyone raves about what a good man he is. Where is the justice ? Well I'd better wrap this up... got some shopping to do before wife gets home... Dang I hate this Holiday !!!
