Nothing scares me !!!!
So maybe I'll have to re-think that statement. Going back
a week or so I would have made that statement. Now I have
to admit I would have to change it to 'Almost nothing scares me'
While experiencing fine dining at a local Wendys I developed a
sort of crushing feeling in my chest after the first bite of baked
potato. Thinking it would pass I sat for a while, but it persisted.
Not wanting to be the fat guy that gets carried out of the fast
food place on the evening news ,I gathered up my uneaten burger
and headed to the parking lot where I was certain relief would
come...Wrong again. Thinking a nice nap at home would help I
headed up the road but as the pain worsened and I became a little
short of breath I decided to swing by the emergency room just so
I would be in the area if things worsened. Looking back I have made
some really bad decisions in my life and after the needle marathon
started in the ER I thought maybe I had made another. But thank God
I made the right one this time.
After a couple jugs of Nitro a few hundred pokes in the arm, a trip
through the rotor router and a few blowout patches and wa laa... good
to go !! Sounds easy but when your hearing things like 'bypass' and 'open heart surgery' I don't mind telling you It can put ya a tad on edge. I'm
sure I strained Gods ear a bit on the couple days before the procedure
but he came through in flying colors and when the time came I knew I
could be in no better hands.
Isn't it great when 'You can just know '
