Show was nice, bigger this year it
seemed. Love to watch the old
steam traction engines working
the sawmills, Grain mills and such.
Plus the added treat of kettle
cooked bean soup cooked over
an open fire and served with
fresh corn bread from grain
milled on the grounds with that
new fangled 'steam power' lol
New construction ! Club installing new road to winter
camp area and constructing a 60X100 building for equipment
storage. Always something going on it seems.
Breakdown (not of the nervous type .. whewww)
Ejector gave it up on 'Ole Betsy right in the middle of
CCW qualifying. Was able to borrow another pistol to
finish but she's going to need some TLC.
There there girl ! You'll be fine !
Cool nights setting in. Feels nice but going to have
to dig out a couple more blankets at the camper. On
a good note the new furnace preformed well ! ;-))
Transition almost complete ! Grass cut today, Fall
decorations changed out. Pumpkins on display.
Can that nasty snow be far behind???
Almost forgot ! Quiet time
at camp so I carved a spoon.
I know .. I know Watch out
for splinters ! lol
