Have you ever looked back on your life and thought..
I haven't changed a bit. I don't mean physically of course,
we all do that. Some more gracefully than others lol
Not me.. I know I've changed several times and I'm quite
sure I may change again. I'm just not sure when. I just feel
that I'm ready for a change. Hopefully a small unnoticeable one.
I remember being shy and insecure. very little self esteem
and pretty much intimidated by everything and everyone around
me. I hated that part of my life and later learned how foolish I
was to feel that way.
As I started my adult life I remained a homebody. Never liked
to travel, got into the bar scene for a bit. lived in patched jeans
and flannel shirts.. Life was just working and partying on the
weekends.
Then along came marriage which probably saved me. For
once in my adult life I had to answer to someone..lol Big changes
came about. Haircuts, proper dress, much less drinking, vacations
at the beach, cruises, all sorts of new things introduced in a short
time. Someone who never even considered flying whisking off
to Cancun a couple times, trips to New Orleans and such. No
small feat for a guy who rarely left his hometown.
I now think I'm finally coming full circle. Hate to travel
anymore, satisfied to just sit at home and chill. No hair to cut
a simple trim instead of shaving and a slight step up to better
jeans and very little flannel. lol I'm not quite back to my
'hobo mode' but I can see it in my future. Luckily I have a
understanding wife. Hopefully between her and the grandkids
I won't go too far off course before getting yanked back into
reality. I really think I was born to be a hobo! *sigh*
