Eye opening experience...........

I'm going to travel into some pretty dangerous ground
with this post but if people really take the time to read and
think about what's said maybe they will understand.  If not
then I guess I'll just have a few (no more than five anyway)
less friends.  And although that would hurt I imagine I'll still
wake up in the morning and life will go on.
I've been staying out of the political shenanigans as of late
mostly for my own sanity but also because I feel that most of
the issues people rant, cuss and scream about are very complex
issues with no simple solution.  At least none that I can offer.
The topic I'd like to address today is the utter 'etched in
stone' views each side has chosen.  No matter what the subject,
each side thinks their party's side is the divine word.  Everybody
on the left hates everybody on the right and no matter what their
party says... they back it one hundred percent.  I know I've beat
this horse quite a few times but really people.. Is there no middle ?
This has opened my eyes to quite a few friends that I sincerly
thought of as open minded people.  I'll respect anybody's views as
long as I feel they truly believe in what they say.  But please don't
simply be a mouthpiece for some politician that is simply using
you as their bullhorn.   Not one of you can tell me that they agree
with everything that this administration is doing.  Yet nobody
publicly disagrees...On the other hand not one of you can tell me
you agree with every single view of the other side.. yet you treat
it as gospel.  So sad!   I'm beginning to think the world had turned
into a army of puppets..programmed to put aside any and all personal
feelings and beliefs and hate the other side as you are instructed!
Yea I'm upset.. and disappointed.  I guess we just need to label
people as left or right and do, think and say what we're told.
God gave us a terrific brain and sense of morals and standards..It's
a shame we'll never use them again !
