This blog has no purpose. That is except to fight my
never ending boredom and maybe jumpstart my lazy
brain into persuading me to do something. It's not like
I have nothing to do. I need to finish a cat condo / scratching
post I started for my grand daughters new kitten.. I have
request for several sets of ferro rod and striker handles to
be turned on the lathe. I need to review some new friction
polish a friend sent me for finishing wood. I have some new
sanding paste I made that I haven't tried out yet.. and the list
goes on. But still I set here.. like a slug watching videos and
reading Facebook soap operas like any of it makes a difference
in the grand scheme of things. Here's a few things that crossed
my mind while I sit here vegetating. None of which hold any
importance whatsoever to anyone other than myself....
Murder.. death and confinement... Man the Dream weavers
have been working overtime. It needs to stop.
Did you know there is a right way and a wrong way to lay
a coffee stirring spoon down in the saucer? I didn't.. I do
now.
I find out that as soon as the camper is winterized for the
season the urge (need) to go there is at least trippled.
Migrating cutting boards.. In our (my wife's) kitchen there
is one cabinet that is home for baking accessories. Cooling
racks, cookie sheets and such. It is also home to two cutting
boards. For some reason the cutting boards need to be in the
middle between the baking sheets and the cooling racks. I'm
not sure why, but that's how it is. Now.. I use the cutting boards
daily. We use the other stuff on holidays and an occasional
cookie or cake day. So ,me being me, when I use the cutting board
I place it on the left in front of the racks for ease of access.
Yet every time I open the door it's back in the middle. Strange.
I of course replace it on top of the racks again when done but
It always finds it's way back to the middle. Nothing is ever said
it just migrates. So I now find myself moving it whenever I
have a spare moment just to see how long it takes to return.
Funny how little things amuse me.
I need to hire a tuitor. I thought all of my editing problems
were the fault of my old computer so I bought a new laptop
just for editing and making my you tube videos. I was wrong.
First couple went well then the SHTF. I now have my phone
camera and several memory cards for my camera loaded with
video and pictures and can't seem to get them from point A to
Point B. I think it's just a lose nut on the keyboard.........
Well my back hurts.. my head aches and it's getting to be nap
time... Maybe a half hour nap will do the trick. But first I'd
better go move the cutting board..........
