Extremists unite !!!!

      I guess that's a pretty extreme title for a political piece.  Yes that's right I said political piece.  I looked up 'political piece' in the dictionary it means.  An article that requires no explanation or response.  I guess what I'm trying to decide is whether to be a Socialist or a Fascist.  Seems all other options are off the table now days.  Ahh the good ole days when you could just enjoy the good in both parties without being forced to resort to name calling and degrading everything and everybody that disagreed with one particular set of guidelines.  But that's not the  reason for this post.....

     I am not being critical by any means.  I'll defend anybody's right to their opinion.  Opinions do not offend me .  Criticism of policy doesn't offend me.   Outright lies and hate do . ,,Although I do understand commitment to a party I find it so very strange to discover that  people that I worked with and grew up with that seemed to always be so kind hearted and understanding have become so cold and downright mean over something like politics.  Not to me personally, but I have seen many many truly nasty arguments between guys that I would never have expected to have a malicious thought in their head.  It's like a completely different mind altering virus hit way before Covid 19 and affected our morals instead of our health.  Truly sad.

    To prove a point I shared a post of Face Book recently that 'seemed' to be a Fox News attack on the Democratic candidate for Vice President for her terrible demeaner at the recent debate.  In fact it was a post showing similar ,if not worse, reactions from Our president during the last debate.  Now I realize that a big part of my followers are conservatives and watched the video yet not one responded.  Not even a dislike, a contradiction or a cry of fake news.  Why ?  Because they couldn't admit they they watched it and seen the hypocrisy of the FOX News comments.   And this is not just a right wing problem.  Both sides only see what they want to see. But it does prove to me that people need to open their eyes and stop ignoring what us in the middle see everyday..  Blind allegiance.  Both sides need to open their eyes and be more like Owls instead of sheep.   God in Heaven knows I'm tired of preaching this sermon !!!!

I pray that regardless of the outcome of this election that we as a country don't continue on this  path of division and hate and that we can heal and unite.  I'm not sure that is possible but I pray for it just the same .......
