Ok. Rolling right along here with our special
Country Music week tonight, I bring you a fairly
new singer that I really like, coupled with one of
my favorites from the past.
Years ago I used to listen to a lot of Randy Travis
His music came at a time when lets just say I was
questioning some of my life choices, and maybe it
was his deep voice or the fact that he seemed to be
singing about the problems I was imagining at the
time kind of kept me on an even keel. In fact one
of my favorite quotes I have listed in my profile
page came from one of his songs. Over the years
he has changed a bit and gotten a little too country
for me. But I still like to go back now and again.
Josh Turner on the other hand reminds me a
younger Randy Travis. Nice voice and some great
songs. I stumbled onto this You Tube video of their
performance together and pretty much spent the
evening listening to it. So now I've had my fix and
I'm ready to move on. Thinking maybe finishing out
the evening with a bit of Procol Harum. (I caught a bit
of Whiter shade of pale on the radio this afternoon)
Nope ..don't take much to change my music preference
Anyway I listed a couple of my favorites and of course
I had to include a Train Song. Cause that's what I do !!!
