Tidbits.....

And you thought I forgot .....

     Been a while 'eh ?   Well I came to the realization that
nobody was enjoying the songs I was singing so I thought
it best to just hum the lyrics in my head for a while..lol   
   I still lurk on line from time to time but try not to get too
involved.  Sometimes I think my humor and constant commenting
has a way of wearing on people.  That's no excuse for not blogging
as there are only a few people that are aware of my blog so that
limits the number of people I can irritate, which should be a plus.
     I have found a new audience of unsuspecting souls that haven't
yet been offended by my overbearing ways on my You Tube 
channel 'Plain 'Ole Chuck'  I've really enjoyed making a few short 
videos and they seem to be fairly well accepted.  Of course my
editing skills haven't improved much and my content is pretty
dull and lackluster but by golly I always get at least a few nice
comments on each video and that helps the spirit a bit when one
is not feeling particularly good about themselves. It probably
says more about the people watching than it does my skills.  
Then again I really enjoy the interaction with the people in the 
bushcraft community.  Some have even sent me very nice gifts
and I in return have sent out quite a few of my hand made 
Ferro rods and strikers  and boxes of flint to people who don't
have the tools or the ways to make or find these things in their
area. 
     Although I truly miss a lot of the interaction I used to enjoy
on other social media sites I think it's best to just drop by now
and then and throw out a barb or two just to let them know I'm
still around and then skip off smiling.   At least till these new
folks get tired of me..Then it's Game on for everyone again !!!!!
