I'm speaking to a pretty select crowd here of course. Oh sure I may not be as wise as a lot of people when it comes to such things as math.. science.. medicine.. electronics.. photography .. composition ,, grammar .. spelling ..psychology .. world trade .. financial management .. sewing .. bull riding and a couple other things.. But I can whistle.. cook.. start a fire with two sticks (and several other ways) .. cook a meal .. ride a 4 wheeler .. provide food and shelter for my family and wash my own underwear. Now all of these things may not be very impressive and I assure you the negative list is much larger than the positive one but I bring it up for one reason. Lately in our polarized society there have been a lot of negative comments made about one side or the other. Having had low self esteem issues my whole life I accepted it for the longest time. I'm done. I'm going to hang my hat on my abilities regardless of what this snooty world may think of them. I may be dumber than a lot but I'm smarter than some so that's where I'm directing this post. If your one of the wise ones.. God bless you . and if you ever need a deer processed or a leaky pipe fixed don't hesitate to ask. after all I may need medical service or financial help some day from you .
Basically what I'm trying to say when your having your little political riffs .. think twice before calling someone an idiot or implying that they are stupid because they disagree with your agenda. Someday you may need that idiot to fix a flat tire on your Bentley.
All this to bring up an Albert Einstein quote that covers this in much fewer words...
Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by it's ability to climb a tree it will live it's whole life believing that it is stupid ! The question I have for you at this point of our journey together is .. "What is your genius ?
