Really February ? That's all ya got ! All these warnings.. alerts.. and such and you give us a one hour snow squall ? Why.. back in the day we would call this 'flurries' Here I set with 6 cases of water, 96 rolls of toilet paper, 72 rolls of paper towels, shelves full of canned food, totes full of dried beans, rice, Spam, powdered milk, 3 cases of beer, 4 bottles of bourbon and a small 7 up for mixer and you give us this????????? Oh wait.. It's starting to snow again.. Update from the bunker later.
So I hope everyone is doing well. I've all but eliminated my on-line activity, I do maybe a bit in the morning and a tad in the evening just to post rainbows and happy thoughts. (extremely hard to do these days) Except a couple days ago I did feel a bit mischievous and vengeful so I made a few political comments to a select few. I'm very careful to only torment the ones I know can take it or the ones I wouldn't mind losing. So if you didn't get a comment from me in the past two days your still on my 'endeared friend' list. Like it or not.
Perhaps some of you that are into astrology and such can help me out. Was there some sort of planet misalignment last week? Maybe some extraordinary Sun spots? Something caused the Earth's gravity to pull my brain to the bottom of my cranial cavity and cause it to short out. I found myself in a fog all week (hence the political posts) I knew something was coming early Tuesday when the gravity was so strong I couldn't get up out of the recliner all day. It must have effected my dog too cause he stayed right with me ! I tried to shoot a couple You Tube videos and they ended up with the blooper reel being longer than the video. I added them to the end of the video just to verify that I really did try . A look at the comment section tells me that people are more amused by my screw ups than they are my videos. Go figure People enjoy seeing people fail !
Believe it or not my dog was the star of my last YT video. At least the blooper reel... lol Poor Betsy is fifteen years old. Pretty much deaf but still acts like a six month old puppy. For those that follow me know that a few weeks ago she had a stroke. She couldn't walk or eat her head was tilted to one side it was really a sad time in this house. We took her to the vets with the intentions of having to have her put down. After examination the vet said not to give up quite yet. Some dogs recover better than humans. I couldn't bear to see her suffer but my greed overcame my compassion and I brought her home with medication. Low and behold three weeks later she is like a pup again.. head tilt gone.. wandering eyes clear and full of love.. as one can tell from the video eating like a horse and as vocal as ever. I guess prayers work for pets too. She has always been a very vocal Yorky / poodle mix (I think it's a female thing) and come dinner time she truly lets you know. Each day now is a bonus with her and I treat it as such.....
