One might say I don't accept change well. One
may be right. I have had quite a few cell phones over
the years, especially when I was younger and careless.
I had candy bar phones .. flip phones and even a big
Motorola phone that needed a belt case to carry. Over
the years I have ran over them with the car, dropped
them in the lake, dropped one in the livewell of my boat
dropped them in hydraulic reservoirs at work and melted
one down on the burner of the kitchen range. But since
I've matured and moved to the smart phones I have only
had three. Two I phone 3's and a I phone 4. All have
served me well If i remember right the first I phone 3
was a baptismal mistake as well. I need to stay away
from water. In any case I have been taking a lot of guff
lately about my old phone. To get any signal at camp I
had to lay it down on the kitchen counter and put it on
speaker to talk. Worked fine as long as you didn't pick it up.
I could text from outside on the picnic table as long
as I would lay it down before i hit send. I had enough !
I went out and purchased a new phone last week and after
this past weekend at camp I found with it I get no signal
at all from inside and 1 bar of service outside. RATS !
There was a very bad storm that night and everyone was
messaging me asking if things were ok. The only way I
could answer was to go outside in the storm and stand under
a metal shed in a lightning storm to tell everyone I was fine.
So now I set here with a sore throat, cough and chest congestion
all to tell everyone I was fine. That worked out just dandy !
Thanks AT&T and Apple !!!!!!!!!
