dishes and home decorating items that everyone in the area
feels the need to have. Including us. Our kitchen is full of
lime green dishes cups bowls, you name it plus a few royal
blue accent pieces Now that may sound like an odd color
combination but it actually looks pretty nice.
Today's mission was salt and pepper shakers. I mean who
doesn't need a nice set of forty dollar shakers? Personally I
could have painted up a old baking powder can and punched
some holes in the top and been happy. But that's just me. So
since the factory is only a little over an hour up the road I
decided after breakfast to take my wife up to see what new
and exciting things might be available. Truth is.. not much.
Oh a couple new colors and a nice collection of Christmas
plates but nothing that interested us. We did pick up a sugar
bowl and coffee creamer for the coffee bar although we will
use neither.. but hey.. we were there.
The factory has a blemish room filled with items that
may have small flaws in them and there are some bargains to
be found in there if they happen to have the color you are looking
for but we are seldom that lucky.
