Just a short blog to note some of the shortcomings I've noticed
about how man (and woman of course) have missed certain steps in
the evolution process. Possibly someone can help me out with several
problems I'm having.
First on is it is a well known fact that a woman's feet are usually
much smaller than a mans. It has been theorized that this is to allow
her to stand closer to the sink and counters for doing such chores as
washing dishes and preparing meals without experiencing strain on
her back causing her lower back pain and thus prevent her from doing
the laundry and other chores she was put on earth to do. As time has
evolved however I see myself being forced to preform these chores.
Something I simply wasn't designed for. Am I going to have to design
a 'toe box' undercut in all of our cabinets and appliances to avoid back
problems? I just recently remodeled our kitchen. I guess I should have
looked into this before the remodel.. *sigh*
Another thing that always bothered me It is true, a man's body is
designed for more heavy duty hefting and lifting than a woman's. I accept
that.. But over time women have become more exercise conscience and
health aware. I applaud that. However how can a woman that can do a forty
minute cardiac workout hold yoga poses for unlimited times and bowl
all evening with a fourteen pound bowling ball insist that I must carry a
ten pound bag of flour in from the car because it's 'heavy' Obviously
their strength building programs are also build muscle between their ears
too because it seems to work...
Sweepers. Now having three dogs I don't have a problem running the
sweeper. This week the wife is on a girls getaway so I've done it enough
this week to notice a problem. I watch my wife do it all the time and I
don't ever remember her stepping on the cord as she vacuums. I on the
other hand never get two steps without stepping on the cord. Now before
y'all say anything I do practice the left hand / excess cord lift that I see
done. Other than making me look like an overweight bald ballerina I
don't see any advantage to it at all. At least every other step if not every step
I find one of my over sized feet planted on the loose cord. I'm thinking
it has something to do once again with the man /woman foot design.
We won't get into some of the other changes like 'directional strength'
like why is so easy for man to put the toilet seat up but such a strain for
a woman to lower it. Must be something in the arm motion I guess.
I have more but I must go finish the dishes and tote the dog food up
from downstairs. This crossing of the crafts is killing me ..I'd better get
the dog food first .. just in case I get a lot of lower back pain from the dishes......
